Jewel of the Seas Greek Isles Cruise 2019 - final day in Rome Part 2 - the wrap up

I didn’t really care for it but everyone else drank it


We decided to make our way to our hotel so we could check in.

these two seriously laughed the entire day...you’d think the alcohol contributed but that’s just how they are together




more police! they were putting up barriers in case the protestors came this way 

we got to the hotel, checked in, and up to our room: 305.

ok we’re all checked in. we’ve rested our feet for a minute. Let’s go check out friends’ airbnb.

we type in their airbnb into google maps. It’s over by the Vatican. we start walking.

I honestly don’t know how we managed to eat SO much that day but here we are again...eating. The pizza was good but we did not care for the restaurant itself.

we stood here for maybe 10 minutes and watched the sky change

we walked to the restaurant...a locals type of place. It was indeed great! I highly highly recommend if you’re on this part of town

I was really really tired at that point and kind of just wanted quiet and sleep. We walked friends back to their place and then started back to our hotel

Travel day!
We had a shuttle service reservation for 8am and breakfast started at our hotel at 7:30. We woke up, took our bags downstairs, and made our way to the rooftop bar where breakfast was served.

A few words on Hotel Otivm:
We highly recommend! The staff were all fantastic, the location is great, the view is great, air controlled room. Perfect.

Our driver showed up a few minutes before 8, but we were already downstairs and ready to go. This driver was the least friendly of them all and honestly he put me off from the service. We arrived at the airport at 8:15 and lugged our baggage inside.
