Wow. Incredible. Beautiful.  These are the words we used when describing last year's visit to the Greek Isles. Would this year live up to the same standard and un-measurable experiences? This was my 7th cruise....7th?! That's not nearly enough. I started cruising in fall 2014 when I made the leap to move from my home in Seattle to where my long distance at the time boyfriend lived in Colorado. He had been cruising for years solo or with ex girlfriends that we will not mention. I had just returned from a DIY land based in Ireland and then pretty much went straight into my first cruise: the Southern Caribbean on Carnival Breeze. If you read my last trip blog you'll know Nate and I got engaged in Sept 2018 in Rome on top of the Altar of the Fatherland in Piazza Venezia. When we got back from that cruise we almost immediately booked for Oct 2019. The price was too good to pass up and we wanted to see everything again. After spending time at the Spanish Steps we decided not to have a real destination in mind accept to end in Piazza Navona at some point. So wandered we did.  St. Peter's I now wish I would have gone inside this church and I don't even know the name of it. Finally at Piazza Navona We got a table at Restaurante Domiziano right on the piazza here's the view from our table: After eating we wandered further to Camp De Fiore (the open market) which to be honest was not that impressive compared to things I had heard. We continued walking.. Recognize this? That's right..."our" building The original selfie:  we decided to go up these stairs and to our amazement we entered this: I cried at the beauty of it  Drum roll please....we are back at the place it all began... The guards at the tomb of the unknown soldier: We continued walking around, eating more gelato, and made our way back to our hotel.. Nate wanted to rest

Zandro is being promoted and we totally understand why! At breakfast on debarkation day we sat outside of the Windjammer buffet and ran into Ferdinand one last time. He said his crew card lets him on any ship owned by Royal to take a look at it (symphony of seas and a pullmanter ship were in port. He said he could go on either) Symphony basking in the sun: Debarkation was by far the easiest we’ve ever had. Our number was called half an hour early and we walked off the ship. Did you think we were done? Nope not yet. For our hotel post cruise I think I cancelled and booked about 3 different hotels. I just couldn’t make up my mind. Again I decided to splurge a little and took a friend’s advice and booked us at Albergo del Senato using a promo code from their website and
