Christmas in August

I finally started my Christmas cards today. I made three, but this is the only finished one. I fashioned this off of a CAS challenge. Everything here is Stampin Up except the red card stock. Baja Breeze, chocolate chip, always artichoke, scalloped edge punch, chit chat rub ons, and retired holiday paper.

2019 Jewel of the Seas Greek Isles Cruise - Oia, Santorini

 Just as I did last year I pre-booked our Santorini water taxi online for 15 euros each. We used the Aegean Traveller again. While I do recommend them it seemed like this year they were much more chaotic than last and they had trouble finding my proof of payment because I had paid via paypal. The first taxi was at 8:30. As you’ll find out later we didn’t end up using the bus service (included in our ticket price) from Oia to Thira. We took the first tender from the ship and had about an hour to kill before it got there. While we were waiting we met 2 couples who we ended up chatting with the whole time. Never did see them again after we got off the bus in Oia.  the beautiful view from the water taxi: The water taxi pulled into Ammoudi Bay and we made the small hill climb to the bus to take us up to Oia. Again we got on first (like last year) and got seats at the front. I had a few missions in mind 1) go back to the shop I had made all of our purchases at last year...

Introduction

I've wanted to start a blog for quite a while now and finally decided to sit down and do it. Originally I was just going to make this a blog on the cards I make, but I think I'm going to incorporate scrapping as well. I only recently discovered the art of card making and now I'm hooked. So, I look forward to getting feedback and sharing with my fellow crafters!

Tampa 2017 Continued

We spent the next couple of days with quality family time with my grandma, aunt, uncle, cousins, and my aunt & uncle from Oklahoma who actually happened to be in town at the same time.  My cousin had her first baby in January 2017 so this was also an opportunity to meet her and get lots of baby snuggles. My cousin's fiance's dad owns a boat and we took it out for a leisurely couple hours on the water. The last night we spent walking down to the water to take in the sunset. It was incredible. We headed back to Orlando and stayed at a hole in the wall hotel by the airport for the final night because we had a very early flight the next morning...all i can say is you get what you pay for when it comes to hotels in Orlando...next time I'm in Orlando I will definitely not be looking at hotels in that low price range.
